Bobby’s Burger Palace
A few of my friend have told me about this place so I figured I’m here, I’m hungry and what better way to distract your wife from shopping then a quick bite to eat. Lisa ordered the Bobby Blue Burger with a side of sweet potato fries.
As soon as I saw that they had a Hot buffalo burgers I knew I had to have one. Since I have been cutting down on the salt lately I agreed to share my wife’s sweet potatoes. I have to tell you these are not the largest burger that I have eaten by any stretch.Sever on a ordinary bun with a pickle no sides no nothing…
I have to give them credit on the fries, they cam out in a nice little package severed with a honey mustard sauce. Although at this point I’m not doing back flips over the burger, I have to say these fries where pretty good…
Overall this was nothing more than a way to keep the wife from shopping at best. The only really good thing about this place is the price. It’s hard to complain when a meal for 2 is under 20 dollars. Quality meat but just not a lot of it.

I’m not big on blue cheese burgers, but I love sweet potato fries. I wish I could convince my family to eat them, though.

Where is this place? I would love to try a Bobby Flay restaurant, even if it is just a burger joint. I too am not a fan of blue cheese, nor of the buffalo burger. Give me a slab of bacon and some cheddar and I am set.
We got what I believe is a chain restaurant here in VA called “The Counter”, and they make some good burgers. They have a list of burger toppings, and you make your own burger by picking and choosing off the list they hand you. I like that kind of thang. They also make good shakes as well. As for the best burger, I would give it to Red Robin and their Banzai Burger. It is a teriyaki burger with pineapple cheddar cheese and mayo. While the idea of mayo and teriyaki sauce probably doesn’t sound appetizing, for some reason it is this combo that makes this burger. Very messy, but yummilicious.

Ground beef is in a totally different ballpark than steak. It’s gotta be well-done. As a matter of fact, I like a little bit of charring on the top and edges of my burger patties.

Oh god no no no Scott…. charring is for steak only..lol

Rarely do I go above med rare, I never go above med. I understand the health risks, but I figure were all going to die from something someday.
