 Ingredients….Salt,Sugar.Paprika,Spices,Evaporated Cane Juice,Garlic Powder,Corn Starch, Onion Powder, Maltodextrin,Citric Acid,Dehydrated Onion,Tumeric,Lemon Oil,Dehydrated Garlic, Natural Flavors,Soybean Oil,Extractives of Paprika and Natural Smoke Flavor….

When I first read the ingredient list on this rub I was very surprised to see it was Salt. I don’t enjoy a rub that has a lot of salt in it for the mere fact it takes away from the taste of the meat. After trying the rub I found it not as salty as the label would led you to believe.  Great fresh Paprika mixed with the salt and the sugar to get the mouth watering. GREAT SMOKEY FLAVOR……..

Label……. The best part of the label is the name itself. Very catchy…. I have had the bottle now for about a week and I have not stopped with the jokes ever since. Along with a bar code is a logo that certifies them as a product of South Carolina…

The Certified South Carolina program is a new an exciting cooperative effort among producers, processors, wholesalers, retailers and the South Carolina Department of Agriculture (SCDA) to brand and promote South Carolina products. Thier goal is for consumers to be able to easily identify, find and buy South Carolina products.

Another logo that you will find on the label is this one. Mark Busbee has put a team of BBQ masters together that  makes the south proud. You can check out there web site herehttp://www.qforeu.com/. And for all you face book fans you can check them out here as well.http://www.facebook.com/qforeu

Taste….Started the day off at the butcher which is always a good thing. I had a wide selection of the meats that I could use for this rub and for some strange reason I went with the chicken breasts. Not long after the Giants put and ass wooping on Atlanta did I put the breasts to the fire. Nothing really fancy here just litely rub them with some EVOO and a helping of Buzz’s Butt Rub…

I wanted to take a couple seconds and talk to you about the consistence of this and other rubs. I have heard people complain for years about rubs being way to clumpy!!!  I don’t buy into that at all.As long as you have quality ingredients and two good hands I could careless if I have to work to break it apart. I don’t want to say that this was very clumpy, but i did break it apart for the picture…

Getting back to the Taste. Just the right amount of sugar in the rub so I did not have to worry about flare ups at all. As you can see from the picture the Rub did the Chicken Justice. All around great blend of spices and just the right amount of heat to follow. I mad a total of 7 cutlets and in a matter of minutes they where gone. We all agree that this is a product that will be back in the house again. I had a couple of friends say that the paprika was very strong. I don’t agree with the words very strong but you will know what pepper is in this rub .

  1. The Q for U website needs an update as does their Facebook page which hasn’t seen a post since September. Good review, I just wish it wasn’t smokey in flavor. Not a fan of the smoke coming through so much. Giants look good btw, can they keep it alive against my Vikings’ nemesis, the Packers? I hope so.
