Smackers, Memphis Style Gourmet BBQ Seasoning.

Smackers “Original Sweet and Spicy” Memphis Style Gourmet BBQ Seasoning.
This was a 2010 NBBQ winner, Our rub was recently awarded 1st Place in the All Purpose Rub and Seasoning category.

This dry rub looks like red sand, it has that kind of texture, once I opened the bottle and smelled it, it was awesome. It has a really sweet smell and a BBQ smell. I had high hopes for this. One thing I really liked that was very clear on the label, it says, LOW Sodium and No MSG. I really hate super salty dry rubs, to me they are more of a seasoned salt, this is not like that.

Denny Mike’s “Cow Bell Hell”

Ingredients:

Paprika, Garlic, Sea Salt, Onion, Spices

Cow Bell Hell comes in really cool orange and red tin that has this window to see the rub that it holds inside. On top it has a picture of a bull with red horns and a devil tail by the name. Almost every part of the container, including the small part of the lid, has something written on it or has artwork on it.

McCane’s Southern Fixin’s Moon Dust Rub and Seasoning

Appearance:

This seasoning has a nice brick red appearance with hints of black pepper and the glint of salt crystals. It is fairly well gound and fine in appearance with the allusion of larger granules because of very slight clumping. Overall, it is very appealing looking and seems well made and perfectly mixed. There is no layer of smaller sediment present at the bottom like many seasonings.
